Explosión de Ford Fiesta durante repostaje: policía sorprendida cuando más de 20 kilos de cocaína escondida en el depósito se volatilizan - AutoRR

Ford Fiesta explodes during refueling: Police are surprised when more than 20 kilos of cocaine hidden in the tank evaporate.

Fact or Fiction?

Life imitates art, and this time at a gas station in Argentina, a series of coincidences recreate a scene straight out of a movie, like "Airbag." A vehicle loaded with cocaine explodes while its owner, identified as a member of the Buenos Aires Police, was refueling with CNG with her three children. This dramatic situation unfolds amidst a historic snowfall, adding even more intensity to the incident. The images of the event, worthy of a film script, have captured the attention of both local and international media, sparking a debate about gas station safety and the presence of illegal substances in everyday vehicles.

In the town of Orán, a dramatic incident was captured on security cameras, marking what is surely the worst day for Sofía Chaparro and her family. While traveling with her three children, ages 9, 13, and 14, the vehicle was carrying more than 20 kilos of cocaine, valued at $80,000, carefully hidden in the fuel tank. However, fate took an unexpected turn when the car exploded at a gas station, pulverizing Chaparro and her illicit cargo.

The incident, which could have been tragic, according to local media , took a fortunate turn, as legislation requires occupants to abandon a vehicle when refueling with Compressed Natural Gas. At the time of the explosion, the car was empty, thus avoiding a major tragedy. Although the explosion was relatively contained, two people were injured, including one of Chaparro's sons. This incident has raised concerns about gas station safety and the presence of illegal drugs in common vehicles, generating a debate about the need for stricter measures to prevent such events.
