Ferrari SP-8 : A Roadster-Led Aerodynamic Gem Inspired by the F8 Spider
The Ferrari SP-8, presented here, is an emerging gem from the One-off program, the fruit of a seamless collaboration between a passionate customer from Taiwan and the talented design team led by Flavio Manzoni at the Ferrari Centro Stile. It was born as a true two-seater, with the essence of a roadster and the audacity of going without a roof.
Its DNA is derived from the F8 Spider, inheriting its design and structure. However, its true jewel lies under the hood: the award-winning 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which has been praised by experts and has garnered the "Engine of the Year" (IEOTY) award four times in a row. Adapting this roofless vehicle to aerodynamic demands, especially with such a powerful engine, has been no easy task. But, after meticulous wind tunnel testing and rigorous track sessions, the SP-8 has proven to offer the same level of acoustic comfort as its inspiration, the F8.
